This is a great book to teach young children about inner beauty and self worth. An easy read for young readers and an excellent bedtime story. My 2 year old grabs it for me to read a couple times a day.
This book is a great because it teaches young girls, especially young black girls, that they are beautiful and fearfully and wonderfully made. The author really helps children see themselves and appericate the beauty they have and embracing the beauty God created.
This a timely story set to rhymes on how we can have inner beauty. From helping a friend to apologizing for past mistakes the main character Alex learns what it means to have inner beauty and how to share that beauty with get loved ones and friends.
This is a lovely read and will make a great bed time story. I recommend this book with its colorful pictures and positive story. We need more children's books like this one. Pick up a copy for your son, daughter or grandchild today.
