I may have already met your grandchildren even if you don't have any yet; I'm 110 years into the future. But I wish I could come back, then I could prevent the fire that took my son’s life. But reverse time travel is impossible. I know, because I’ve wasted many years trying.
At least, that’s what I used to think until I met a woman who came from the future and messed with my machine, sending me further through time than intended. Now I need to find her. She might have answers and she might have a way to save my son.
I am Dr. Wayland, scientist, in year 2130.

I like the premise of this story but was disappointed in the overall completion. It started out with a bang but kind of fizzled in the end. I wish more time was spent in the going back to save his son area. There really was not much time travel and the descriptions of what he saw and found in his new time year were lacking. I also felt some of the characters could have been developed more. The ending was a disappointment. I have read several time travel books and while this one did throw in a few surprises, it was sort of hard to follow and not very believable.Product details

Monotonic Time Travel eBook Max Neivandt Reviews
One gets drawn into the science and details of the story. The time travel is very interesting and I was anxious as to what would happen next. The twists that happen with the characters made it hard to put down. I would read more by this author!
As the story progressed the plot seemed to thicken, complicated, more twists, people from the past - like a mystery story, or detective story. I found myself wanting to read on to find answers, and wondering where the story would go. When you think "no more surprises" then something else happens. There are many examples I could give, but I dont want to give away the plot.
The story has lots of scifi, time travel, aliens, action, twists and turns, also a good mix of human feelings and characters. I also like to read human real life drama stories, so I picked up on anything real life in the book, which there was a lot of. And I like the people from the past now in his future.
I like the structure of the story, with a beginning setting the scene, starting off normal, then he is thrown into the future, the middle with lots happening, twists and turns in the story, and aliens. Then the end, I loved the end, with all that high action battle with the aliens. I finished reading the book feeling very satisfied with the ending, even though we dont know if he got back to his time again.
A mediocre story. This book could have gone somewhere exciting yet it managed to miss the mark every step it took.
Being a sci-fi buff & a time travel fanatic... this kept a good pace and held my interest. There should be a sequel if not already.
This felt like i was in the hands of a pro. 90%, of the other books are not ready for prime time. Not this one. Too bad no sequel. Thanks for the ride.
Also the first two of Jumper were good the third just filler.
In my unending quest to read all good time travel stories, I came upon this book. It had a good premise and started off very well - however it then became a little too "weird" for my taste, with extraterrestrial aliens and other such things. Still, it was an enjoyable read....
